Bloom carried out the design and build refurbishment of this commercial space in central London, to serve as a refreshed, modern, headquarters for client PBJ Management.

The works consisted of the strip-out of the existing office and the installation of completely new finishes throughout including the creation of new meeting rooms with glazed screens, the installation of a new kitchenette, and works to rejuvenate the front entrance to the building.

Innovations / Efficiencies realised:

  • Phased construction approach to minimise occupant disruption and demobilisation.
  • A sustainable approach to materials was taken on this project by refurbishing the existing internal glazed screen that seemed on first look to be at their end of life. We created a method of upgrading just the metal beads of the screens so they could be reused. This approach became known as ‘Bloom Bars’.
  • We re-used the existing but functional carpet tiles, moving them to within storage cupboards which minimised waste & made the project more sustainable.
