Symes Mews

INHERITED PROJECT | ENVELOPE WORKS | INTERNAL FIT-OUT & FINISHING

Working in a live building we carefully went about demise splits to facilitate repairs and improvement to the finishing at Symes Mews.

Our team keep pace with the evolving scope as three different tenants came on board. The team responded promptly, confirming designs for sign off and completed the works in a timely manner to ensure tenant move in dates were achieved. The works included external upgrades to the roof, new drywall/glazed partitions, MEPH works, kitchenettes, and finishes.

Innovations / Efficiencies realised:

  • By offering a bespoke flooring build-up solution, we significantly improved the acoustic properties between tenancies, ensuring better sound insulation and a more comfortable environment for occupants.
  • We successfully reused existing timber doors, reducing waste and conserving resources, which contributed to the sustainability goals of the project.
  • Our in-depth roof investigation and expert advice enabled us to complete repairs at just 15% of the potential replacement costs, providing substantial savings without compromising on quality.
